THE BRIEF
Ridammi Il Sole is one of the book designed and published by Afterhours Books. The brief was to redesign the entire book including the cover to meet Afterhours Books’ luxurious standard in order to attract people to pick it up and actually have the interest to read the book.
The client, the writer itself, Ms. Carla Gagliardi wants to redesign and translate the original book from Italian into English and Indonesian, two language in one book.
THE IDEA
The original cover seems quite old and text-bookish so the new book design had to look more modern yet classical at the same time.
A timeless finish with a touch of luxury.
